Joseph Guillermo Jones, popularly called by his stage name Jim Jones was born to his father Joseph Guillermo who was a Puerto Rican and his mother Nancy Jones who was an Aruban in The Bronx, the New York City, in the United States on 15th July 1976 and was raised in Harlem. On 24th March 2009, Pray IV Reign was released, which was Jones fourth record at the studio and this was his major record label debut. The fourth album backed number nine on the Billboard 200 chart. In the year 2009, Jim Jones became Vice President of E1 Music, which was known as Urban A&R at Koch records and he appeared on BET’s 106 & Park along with DJ Webstar on June 11 and announced that his documentary “This Is Jim Jones” release date on 30th June 2009.
On 1st may 2012, Vampire life series was entitled as Vampire life 2 was released by Jones as the second installment and more than 300,000 downloaded the mixtapes by sharing the website DatPiff. On 11th March 2013, Jones announced that he was working on two mixtapes namely The Ghost of Rich Porter 2 and Vampire Life 3 (V3). We Own the Night was released as an extended play on 3rd December 2013. On 1st January 2015, Jim Jones spoke to the original trio of Cameron and DJ Funkmaster Flex made an announcement via Instagram about his upcoming mixtape Diplomats which included fellow member Freekey Zeekey. In July 2006 Jones was indulged with the issue of Complex Magazine that the rumors had spread that Tru-Life was referring Jim Jones in his diss track called “New New York”.
