Ketevan "Katie" Melua (/ˈmÉ›luËÉ™/; Georgian: ქáƒ"თáƒ"ვáƒáƒœ „ქáƒ"თი“ მáƒ"ლუáƒ; IPA: [kÊ°É›tÊ°É›vÉ'n mÉ›luÉ']; born 16 September 1984) is a Georgian-British singer, songwriter and musician. She moved to the United Kingdom at the age of eight â€" first to Northern Ireland and then to London in 1999.
